More of This, Please x March 2026
You're reading GET IT TOGETHER, a weekly newsletter about punk/indie/pop music and visual art from a queer-feminist perspective, exploring things that are adjacent to my own creative practice.
This is a free post, but you can support my work for a few bucks per month by becoming a newsletter supporter or sharing this with a friend. Thanks for reading.

The world is burning and here I am tapping buttons!
But I'll shout it just as loud that joy is resistance, so here are some things that I don't totally hate right now:
Lo Pony
Some sweet friends have turned me on to their music lately. They sound like if First Aid Kit and solo Des Ark had a baby. They cover a Gillian Welch song live that (according to a phone video I received) is really lovely.
Catherine Opie: To Be Seen
Portraits of queer folks now up at the National Portrait Gallery in London. I will not be making it to see this but can one of you please go so I can live vicariously? Truly one of my main influences for all the paintings I create of my friends.
Cheekface - Hostile Street
But what if we kissed and held hands on the hostile street furniture?
Preparing for the Creator Economy Apocalypse (with Chris Gethard)
I feel like someone just took a conversation I started with another comedian friend last year and 10x'd it. If you need insight into the realities being a professional artist and don't mind having your heart crushed a bit, this one is for you! I don't know if this one really brought me JOY as much as comfort that friends are still out there fighting the good fight.
